A - To qualify a dog most successfully pull one round at Five (5) APA sanctioned events.
A - No, a dog will qualify for the World Championship, but not a specific weight class. If a dog weighed 80 lbs all season and weighs in at the World Championship at 83 lbs, they will be allowed to compete in the 90 lb weight class.
A - 9 Months old, all dogs competing at the World Championship must be 9 months of age & have 5 qualifying pulls beforehand to be allowed to pull.
A - Yes, novice pulls do count toward a dogs five (5) pull to qualify for the World Championship. For a novice pull to count they must successfully complete a minimum of one round under the regular class rules and be at least nine months old. If the dog is at least 9 months old when the World Championship occur and they have competed in five (5) APA sanctioned pulls they will be allowed to compete at the World Championship.
A - Those pulls will count toward the dogs five (5) required APA pulls to qualify for the World Championship. The pulls go with the dog and not the owner.
